Teacher Preparation Student Support Services
Teacher Preparation Student Support Services (TPSSS) is a federally funded TRIO grant program that provides support to future teachers who are either first generation, low income, or have a disability.
Multicultural Students
The Office of Multicultural Student Services & Programs is committed to the recruitment, retention, and graduation of historically underrepresented & underserved populations by providing educational opportunities and outstanding programming for ethnically and culturally diverse students.
Veterans
Today’s veterans face numerous obstacles in their path of attaining a college degree. The Veterans Resource Center strives to provide military veterans with the resources, support, and advocacy needed to succeed in higher education.
Disability Services
The Office of Disability Services (ODS) assists students by providing reasonable accommodations to ensure that students with disabilities have access to WOU and its programs. WOU strives to not only make its classes accessible to all students, but its extracurricular activities as well.
DACA
WOU provides an intentional menu of services to support undocumented students. This includes student clubs, support services, financial aid, scholarships, and events.
Paying for College
Do you have questions about how much college will cost or how to apply for financial aid and scholarships? We are here to help! In fact, 71% of our students receive financial assistance to attend WOU.

Apply for FAFSA or ORSAA
We recommend you complete your FAFSA or ORSAA application (financial aid) in October for the best opportunities for grants, scholarships, and loans.

Library & Computer Labs
WOU’s library is more than just a place to study. It also holds multiple computer labs with printers to meet every student’s needs. So don’t worry about purchasing your own computer or printer, WOU’s got you covered!
Non-Traditional Student Services
There are a variety of campus resources available to non-traditional students that can enable them to be more successful during their college career including: locker rentals, parent location services, access to a community of other not-traditional students, and more.

Housing
Residence hall life adds a dynamic dimension to the experience that our residents enjoy while attending Western Oregon University.
Food Pantry
The mission of WOU’s Food Pantry is to help end food insecurity on college campuses. Students can show up any time during operating hours, collect the food they need, and fill out an anonymous checkout form.
Family Housing
Housing Options for Families and Non-Traditional Students with a Spouse, Domestic Partner and/or Dependents
Child Care
WOU’s Child Development Center serves families with children 18 months to age 5. Curriculum integrates creative play and project-based programming because play is child’s work. Children learn through investigation and intentional teaching.
Stay Well
Take care of your physical, emotional, and social health by using our campus health, counseling, recreation, student organizations, sports, and safety resources.
Student Health and Counseling Center
The Student Health and Counseling Center provides quality medical care, sexual health services, mental health counseling, health promotion, education & prevention, and referral services to all students.
WOU Organizations
Get more out of your college experience by attending events and joining a club/organization! WOU has many organizations, student groups, and seasonal events students enjoy attending and the best part is, most of them are free.
Campus Recreation
The Campus Recreation Department’s offers may opportunities for students to stay physically active! With a two-court gymnasium with elevated track, two racquetball courts, three multipurpose rooms, a 6,000 square foot strength, cardiovascular and weight training area, a 40 foot high by 40 feet wide rock climbing wall, locker rooms and the Wolverton Memorial swimming pool, equipment check-out area there’s something for everyone!
Abby's House
The mission of Abby’s House, the center for equity and gender justice, is to provide WOU’s community with educational programming, information, and referral services designed to promote equity and non-violence.
