We follow the WOU academic calendar and are open for 3, 11-week terms.  Our first day of school will be Monday, September 26, 2022 and our last day will be Friday, June 16, 2023.  Please note that this year, we will not open our Toddler Room and will offer a Young Preschool Room instead (ages 2 1/2 to 4).

Please note that the form is quite long and will take about 30 minutes to fill out.  We ask that you thoughtfully and completely fill out your responses. We are changing software programs this summer and if enrolled, you will be asked to complete a separate enrollment in the new program.  Details will be sent this summer.

If you need access to a computer to fill out our forms, language translation or need assistance of any kind to complete our enrollment, please contact Tammy Gardner at gardnert@wou.edu or leave a message at 503-838-8238. We can make an appointment and provide access to a computer, interpretation or any additional assistance.

Please contact Tammy Gardner, Director, at gardnert@wou.edu

Preschool Promise

Preschool Promise

What is Preschool Promise?

Preschool Promise is a model for a publicly-funded, high-quality preschool system. Preschool Promise leverages high-quality, local and culturally-relevant early child care and education programs and makes them available to children living at 200% of the poverty level.

By incorporating a mixed delivery approach which recognizes that high quality early learning experiences can take place in a wide variety of settings, Preschool Promise provides opportunities for families to access and choose the preschool setting which best meets their needs.

The family application for Preschool Promise will not be available from the State of Oregon until this summer.

You can sign up to receive notification from the state at the link below:
