MSSP REMOTE ADVISING SERVICES

During this stressful time, we want you to know that the MSSP Office is still here to support you. Although we are telecommuting, we still hope to continue providing the same level of support and services through REMOTE ADVISING (Advisors are available for phone and/or video call appointments).
We are offering virtual (video call) appointments via WebEx, Zoom, and Google hangouts.

Students- You are now able to schedule your appointments with MSSP online through WCS on your Portal.
  1. Log in to your Portal
  2. Click on WCS (located in the same area as your email, wolfweb buttons)
  3. Click on Get Support
  4. What type of advising – select Advising
  5. Pick a location for your appointment – Virtual (video call) This is the only option for now
  6. Select your advisor
  7. Select the date and time for your appointment – Note that we are doing same dayStarting 2nd week
  8. After you have successfully made an appointment, you will receive an email reminder from WCS as well as an email confirmation from our office that might contain further guidance on virtual/phone appointments and paperwork/forms required for your appointment.

Diversity Scholars


The Diversity Scholars Program provides academic and personal support to students who have been recognized for their academic excellence and their commitment to diversity. We provide opportunities to explore and participate in activities that allow them to demonstrate their knowledge and appreciation of diversity and inclusion. 

Conexiones


The Conexiones Program, in collaboration with the Bilingual Teacher Scholars program through the College of Education, provides support and guidance to all participants. The program is committed to the diversification of the educator workforce through an innovative and collaborative “grow your own” program in collaboration with major school districts and community colleges across Oregon.

On-Track Program


The On-Track program is designed to provide historically underrepresented and underserved college students with a support program that will assist in ensuring academic and personal success, as well as provide opportunities for social development.

Multicultural Representatives


The MCR mentors are committed in assisting in the retention of historically underrepresented & underserved students. They provide a personal perspective and guidance to new students from first-generation, low-income, and/or underrepresented backgrounds.
