Makerspaces

Student Engagement is collecting input from current WOU students and Alumni about Makerspace themes in the WUC. Makerspaces are areas where students can be creative in different ways, build community, take a break and create a sense of belonging. These spaces can change each academic term or academic year and would have a take-home/mail-to-home component. There is no cost to WOU students to participate in these spaces.

To share your amazing ideas, fill out this Makerspace input Google Form!

Nontraditional Student Services

Who are Nontraditional Students?

According to the definition at WOU, our nontraditional students are students who are over the age of 25, returning to school after an extended break, and/or have children.

Services Offered in the WUC

Lockers

A limited number of lockers are available for nontraditional students to rent. The lockers are located in the Wolfpack Lounge and can be rented on a term-by-term basis. To rent a locker, visit the WUC Information Desk.

Emergency Locator

This service provides a system for family members to get in touch with a student during the school day in emergency situations. WOU students provide information about their current class schedule so children, child care providers, or family members can call and have a message delivered to the student in the classroom in case of emergency. If you are interested, fill out the Emergency Locator Service Form. The form needs to be updated each term. A must for parents!
