SPRING BREAK!

SPRING BREAK 2022: 5 pm, Friday March 18 through Noon, Sunday, March 27

THE OFFICE of UNIVERSITY HOUSING  

The University Housing office will remain OPEN throughout Finals Week and Spring Break. Office Hours follow:

STAYING ON CAMPUS FOR THE BREAK 

  • Residents who choose to stay on campus during Spring Break 2022, must sign up via the Portal by March 16, 2022. Look for University Housing Overview, then access the “Spring Break Stayover” under “Apps & Forms” on the left side of your Overview Page.
  • NOTE:
    ARBOR PARK RESIDENTS:
    Simply sign up to stay for any portion of the break. Break fees are built into your rate. NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE for this break.
    ACKERMAN, HERITAGE & BARNUM RESIDENTS: As per our email – If you plan to stay for the entire break, sign up on the portal by March 16th. If you plan to leave campus after 5:00 pm, on Friday, March 18 – or – return to campus earlier than Noon, Sunday, March 27, submit a Residential Contract Petition. A $100 Spring Break fee will be charged to student accounts for residents here who stay on campus for any part or all of Spring Break.
  • ROOM CHANGES: Paperwork for room changes must be submitted by 4:00 pm, Friday, March 11, 2022. You must have a Roommate Agreement on file. Start with your RA. A Room Change Form must be completed and authorized BEFORE you begin your move.

CHECKING OUT OF THE HALLS

For students who will not be returning to live on campus for Spring Term, you must submit a Petition for approval to break your residential contract; then complete your move out by 4 pm on Thursday, March 24, 2022.

  • Start with a Residential Contract Petition
  • The Residential Student must be present to complete the check out/move out process.
  • Students moving out ON or AFTER Sunday, March 27, 2022 will be charged for a minimum of the first 10 days of Spring Term.
