Housing Renewal for the 2026-2027 Academic Year!
Important Dates
January 20th – Housing Renewal Application available on your Housing Overview – Go complete it if you wish to participate in Housing Renewal. There is no application fee!
You must currently be living on campus to be eligible to participate in Housing Renewal.
January 27th – Roommate Matching begins
February 16th – at 5pm Roommate Matching ends; Renewal Application closes
February 18th – after 4pm, log into your Housing Overview to view your assigned Start Time for room selection
February 23rd – March 6th – Room Selection!
June 1st by 5pm – Deadline to cancel your Fall 2026 room reservation without penalty. Requests must be emailed to housing@wou.edu
Cancellation requests received after 5pm June 1st will be charged the $450 Financial Commitment Fee. Charges will go on accounts early Fall Term if registered for Fall classes.
June 24th – Housing Contracts available to sign and meal plan selections
July 27th – Housing Contracts DUE
Monday, September 21st – Fall 2026 Move In Day!

Live On-Campus Again Next Year!
Not sure of where you will be living next academic year? Stay with us on campus again! You will get the opportunity to select your room BEFORE our new incoming Fall students!
There will be rooms in Ackerman, Arbor Park, and Landers Hall to choose from.
Before you electronically select your room, you will get to choose and confirm your roommate group. Once your roommate group is set, the one who will have the earlier selection Start Time will select the space and pull the others in.
Roommate Matching & Room Selection will all happen in your Housing Renewal Application located on your Housing Overview.

Helpful Housing Renewal Tips!
– Only those who complete the Housing Renewal Application will be eligible to select a room.
– If you would like specific roommate(s), be sure they are confirmed before 5pm February 16th.
– If your roommate(s) are not confirmed you will not be able to pull each other into a space.
– Each student will receive their own Start Time for Room Selection. If you have confirmed roommates, whoever has the earlier Start Time from the group should be the one to log in to select the space and pull in their confirmed roommate(s).
– Roommate Matching is optional. If you do not match with anyone you will still be able to go in to select a room at your assigned Start Time. If you select a Double room, you will be assigned a roommate.
– Arbor Park & Single rooms will fill up quickly. We recommend having a back up choice in case your preferred choice is not available during your time. You can request to be on a waitlist for your preferred space AFTER you have selected a room from the available options.
