Move-In for Fall term 2022 is tentatively scheduled to take place during the week before classes start, September 26, 2022. Dates are currently tentative and set at SEP 18, 19 possibly by appointment to check-in. In the event that we need to set up check-in appointments, residents will be notified by email so continue to check your WOU email during the summer for updates. With the exception of students living in the Arbor Park complex (Cedar, Noble and Spruce halls), all students will need to choose a Meal Plan for the coming academic year. Meal Plan selection will be a part of your Residential Contract process. Additionally, you will need to complete the following prior to move in day:
- Emergency Information Authorization form
Again, keep your eye on your WOU email account this summer!
Your mail for the coming academic year will be routed to a mailbox for you in the Residential Service Center (RSC). Those RSC box numbers (and the combination to get into your mailbox) are released after Labor Day in September*. You will find your RSC Box information at that time on your Housing Overview page. The general format for your address on campus will be as follows:

*NOTE: Please do not ship packages to arrive on campus prior to your arrival. We do not have space to store mail prior to that time, and your package/mail will be returned to sender.
Detailed information regarding staying on campus for Winter and Spring Breaks will be included in your Residential Housing Contract, but in general, with the exception of Arbor Park residents (who have Winter and Spring break stays built into their rates), all other residents CAN stay on campus for breaks as well – but there is a fee associated with your stay. Contracts for the coming year are still under revision, but fees for Winter and Spring break for the 2022-2023 Academic Year were $250 and $100 respectively. Changes to these fees are not expected. Break fees are charged to student accounts. (You do not have to come up with the money to stay for a break).
If you have been placed on a wait list – do not despair. Things have a way of changing over the summer. As we receive new reservation requests, process cancellations and assess the situation in general, we will be working to place students and open buildings as needs dictate. Remember to check your Overview Page and WOU email for updates made and information routed throughout the summer.
