First-Year Halls at Western Oregon University

 

RESIDENTIAL LIVING – YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Living on campus can be one of the most amazing experiences of your life – and it all starts here, with our halls designed specifically for our First-Year students, to help you make the very most of your experience here on campus. Go ahead – Tour our First-Year Halls!

Ackerman Hall:
The most centrally located hall to campus, Ackerman is home to both First-Year and Upper Division students as well as our Living-Learning communities.

Note: Occupancy for Ackerman for the 2022-2023 academic year is projected to be primarily doubles with a limited number of  single rooms available on a first-come first-served basis. 

Arbor Park Apartments: Cedar, Noble and Spruce halls – the three halls that make up the Arbor Park Complex, are located on the north end of campus. Arbor Park offers 4 bedroom, 2 bath furnished apartments to Upper Division students only.

Occupancy for Arbor Park is not projected to change  for the coming academic year.

Barnum Hall: The suites in Barnum Hall offer generous living space and en suite bathrooms to both Upper Division and First-Year students as needed.
Note: Occupancy for Barnum for the 2022-2023 academic year is projected to be primarily triples (3 residents per suite) with a limited number of double occupancy suites available on a first-come first-served basis. 

Heritage Hall: The iconic Heritage Hall will serve as home to up to 400 First-Year students for the coming year.
Note: Occupancy for Heritage for the 2022-2023 academic year is projected to be primarily doubles with a limited number of  single rooms available on a first-come first-served basis.

Landers Hall: Landers Hall primarily serves to house First-Year students, but also accommodates Upper Division communities when needed.

Note: IF opened, occupancy for Landers for the 2022-2023 academic year is projected to be primarily doubles with a limited number of  single rooms available on a first-come first-served basis.

Valsetz Dining Hall – 

THE KITCHEN IS OPEN!

When you live on campus, you get an entire kitchen staff working to get you the food that you want or need, when you want it! Your main source for food as a residential student is the Valsetz Dining Hall – take a tour and visit our website for details like online ordering, operation hours , meal plans and of course, where you can find coffee on campus!
