General Information
The Financial Aid staff oversees the award and disbursement of federal, state and WOU institutional aid to admitted WOU students. We are here to help students and their families understand and manage financial aid. We also assist in collecting documents necessary in the financial aid process. Our counselors are happy to help clarify award letters, troubleshoot concerns and otherwise make the financial aid process go as smoothly as possible for our students.
Financial aid does not administer billing or accept payments. If you have questions concerning your balance, or if you would like to make a payment, please contact Accounting and Business Services for assistance.

Lobby hours are Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 10am to 5pm. Schedule in person/phone/virtual appointments with your counselor using the Navigate icon (admitted students) or without an appointment during the drop-in hours*:
- Monday, 9:00 am – Noon
- Monday, 1:00 – 4:00 pm
- Thursday, 2:00 – 4:00 pm
*Drop-in hours are expanded during the first week of each term to match lobby hours.
