ProConnect Events

Farewell to the traditional career fair. Want to meet and connect with students in a more meaningful way? Try ProConnects! This is a fun, educational, and connection-oriented version of a career fair where you’ll get a chance to meet WOU students in small group settings and students then get to enjoy a professional panel presentation (hosted by us) over a quick meal. Students will get to learn about your business and the opportunities you have while building genuine connections.

Fall Career and Graduate School Fair

Looking to connect with Fall or Winter term graduates? Wanting to get a jump on filling your seats in all your classes? This is a perfect fair to start building those networking connections at WOU.  Students are actively looking for internships, part-time jobs, full-time careers, and graduate schools.

With 52 majors, and over 5,000 students on campus, we are sure you will find students to help fulfill your mission. Now is the time to meet qualified candidates within their majors!

Opportunity Fair

For all employers with local, part time, or work study positions.
A great opportunity for you to meet incoming and returning students. Advertise your opportunities, visit with students, and build your brand early on campus. This is the time to meet and greet before the school year gets underway.

Education Fair

At WOU, we connect teaching and learning both in our classrooms and in schools, and we’re proud that our graduates are some of the most sought after in Oregon and the Northwest. We encourage recruiters attending the Oregon Educators Fair to join us the day before on WOU’s campus for more personalized engagement with Oregon’s top talent. Don’t forget to register early as this event fills up quickly!

Career Connect Events

Career Connects events are excellent opportunities for professionals to network with and offer flash-mentorship for current WOU students. We typically host 2-3 of these events each term and they are targeted towards specific industries and career pathways (i.e., Accounting & Finance, Health Careers, Careers in Tech, etc.).  We invite students to join us for brief (5-10 minute) conversations with different professionals over the course of an hour so that they may hopefully explore their curiosity and even a potential career path they might pursue. These are engaging and fun events and are typically held at the end of the work day.

Coffee Talks

Are you looking for more intentional recruitment engagement with students?  Here’s your opportunity!  Western Oregon University is again hosting “Coffee Talks”.  This is a proven, effective way for students to engage with recruiters in a more unique way. Coffee Talks are informational sessions with a full coffee service and cozy furniture!  Register early to select the date and location that works best for you!

Criminal Justice & Government Services Career Fair

This fair is geared to students and agencies within the Criminal Justice field. WOU’s Criminal Justice program combines strong liberal arts curriculum with a rigorous set of core classes and specialized elective coursework in law enforcement, corrections, and community crime prevention. Graduates of our programs seek employment at the municipal, county, state or federal level in a variety of fields, as well as private agencies. Come meet our highly qualified students who are ready to take their career to the next level!
