Move-in Day

Welcome Home Wolves!

SAVE THE DATE!
Fall 2025 Move In: Monday, September 22nd 9am – 4pm

Please make your travel plans accordingly.  We are unable to make accommodations to move people in early, outside of WOU sponsored events that have worked with Housing (ex: Preseason athletes, Destination Western).

If you would like to request to move-in after September 22nd: Please email housing@wou.edu with your name, student V#, and the date & approximate time of your arrival so that we can mark your file.

Before you can check-in:

  • Make sure you have completed Part 2 of your Housing Application which includes choosing your meal plan and signing your Housing Contract.
  • Not sure what to bring?  Get some ideas from our Packing List!
  • We will have limited moving carts for you to use.  If you have a hand truck, wagon, or other items that can assist with making your move easier, please bring them.

After Move-in:

What happens between move-in day and the first day of classes? We’re glad you asked! From September 22nd-27th, we have a week full of exciting and informational orientation events—we call this PACK Welcome Week! This week is packed with a variety of activities to help you familiarize yourself with WOU and make lasting connections with fellow incoming students, all the while getting supported by our WOU Crew orientation leaders.

Classes start Monday, September 29th!
