They want to see how members of the WOU community are feeling, gather and present their findings, and move forward with important discussions about improving WOU’s community.   • COVID-19 reminders: There are answers to Frequently Asked Questions here: Faculty FAQs and this is the link to the WOU Community Health & Polk County COVID-19 Project. Megan Patton-Lopez and members of the project team will report at the January 11 Faculty Senate meeting to go over the protocols in place when one is exposed to or tests positive for COVID-19.

Western Oregon University’s Land Acknowledgement
Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Luckiamute Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are a part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians.
