University Council



The University Council consists of all members of President’s Cabinet, leaders of the governance groups (faculty, staff and students), and additional representatives from throughout the university including representation from Western’s two unions.

The University Council is responsible for determining the degree to which the university is meeting its mission and is engaged in comprehensive, ongoing, systematic assessment of its work that leads to mission fulfillment and continuous improvement.
