While most WOU scholarships can only be applied for November 1st – March 1st there are external opportunities that you can search for year round.

    • Western Oregon University is partnering with ScholarshipUniverse to bring you not just a new scholarship experience for WOU specific scholarships, but also give you access to hundreds of external scholarship opportunities.

Other outside scholarships

Oregon Scholarships
    • Be sure to check out the Office of Student Access and Completion’s (OSAC) scholarships for Oregon Residents. Awards range from $1,000 to $10,000 or more. You don’t need to be a merit scholar or a student with financial need to apply. OSAC administers more than 600 scholarship programs, and you may qualify, but you won’t know unless you apply! Western Oregon University’s Land Acknowledgement
Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Luckiamute Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are a part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians.
