Financial literacy
Understanding your financial situation is an important part of living a well-balanced life. Financial decisions you make now may have a big effect on your ability to purchase a car or house, get married, or even have a family. Whether you are just getting started and need to understand how to create a budget, or you are a pro and need to figure out how much you owe in student loans, the links here should provide good direction for understanding your current financial situation.
GradReady is a financial literacy partner that provides topics to help students before, during and after college. You will find tools to help you understand financial aid better, learn to create a budget, and prepare you for life after graduation.
Free Credit Report Obtain your annual free credit report from the federal government.
Repayment Options To make your payments more affordable, repayment plans can give you more time to repay your loans or can be based on your income. Try the “repayment estimator” to find more about what your monthly loan payments will be after you graduate.
Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program If you are employed by a government or not-for-profit organization, you may be able to receive loan forgiveness under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
Studentaid.gov Provides resources on consumer protection and financial literacy. Students can also log into their Dashboard to view their financial aid history, as well as their current loan balance and their current loan servicer information.

In-person services are Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 10am to 5pm. **Walk-in appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis on the following days/times:
- Monday, 9:00 am – Noon
- Monday, 1:00 – 4:00 pm
- Thursday, 2:00 – 4:00 pm
