2024-2025 FAFSA® Information

The Department of Education has communicated a projected six-week delay in the processing and transmission of FAFSA® information to colleges and universities. Consequently, this delay will impact the timeline for the disbursement of financial aid awards at Western Oregon University.

We are committed to providing you with the most up-to-date and precise financial aid information. However, due to this delay, our ability to send out this information to you will also be affected. We understand the importance of timely updates, and we assure you that we will keep you informed as soon as more information becomes available.

If you have not already filed, make sure you submit your 2024-25 FAFSA® Application as soon as possible and do not forget to also submit your WOU General Scholarship Application by the March 1st deadline.  

To assist students and families who have faced difficulties in filing their FAFSA® application, WOU is further extending the early FAFSA® filing deadline from March 1st to April 1st, 2024. 

The Department of Education has stated that they will send 2024-25 FAFSA® applications to institutions by early to mid-March. Once we receive your FAFSA® information, you will be notified via email.
