My name is Mark Waites. I am currently a Parole/Probation Officer for Josephine County Community Corrections. I actively supervise approximately 70 sex offenders, of varying risk levels, in the community in Josephine County, Oregon. Additionally, I am the first-chair of the Sex Offender Supervision Network, a statewide organization that guides legislation and supervision of sex offenders in Oregon. Before becoming a Parole/Probation Officer, I worked for the Oregon Youth Authority at the Rogue Valley Youth Correctional Facility in Grants Pass, Oregon.
