2022 Majors of the Year Public Health and Exercise Science
Each year, the Division of Health & Exercise Science holds an awards ceremony to recognize our outstanding students in Public Health and Exercise science.
This year, nine of our best students were recognized and celebrated for their academic achievement, professional development, community service, and leadership experience. Below, our 2022 outstanding students share career goals and plans for the future.
Public Health
Abigail Cisneros-Loera
Major: Community Health Education | Minor: Gender Studies
I would absolutely love to work with underserved populations, mothers and their children, or the houseless population.
McKenzie Fisher
Major: Community Health | Minor: Psychology
I plan to pursue a Master of Public Health degree before seeking a career as a program and resource navigator or a health systems advocate.
Hannah McCallister
Major: Community Health | Minor: Human Biology
I plan to obtain my Masters in Public Health at OSU and work with underserved populations or rural communities.
Emily Synegal
Major: Community Health | Minor: Early Childhood
In the future I hope to work with children and families in our community who are in need of resources.
