Living on campus is one of the most rewarding experiences you will have while attending WOU. On campus living will make it easy to study with other students with like interests/fields of study. You will have the opportunity to live with and create friendships with individuals who are both similar and diverse from you. The community that you join will support and sustain you through-out your educational years and quite possibly throughout your lifetime.
If you have questions, or would like additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us!

*While students can choose to exit after completing the B.S., those who want to be professional interpreters are strongly encouraged to continue and complete the M.A.
The demand for qualified interpreters is on the rise – according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, interpreter jobs are expected to grow by 19% over the next ten years (compared to a 5% increase expected for all occupations).
The B.S. degree is designed to prepare you for entry to the M.A. program. Upon completion of the M.A., you’ll be well-qualified to enter the field as a professional interpreter in a variety of settings.
