About us
We are a group of faculty and staff who are interested in or work with internship and practicum programs.
Everyone who is interested in experiential learning, internships and practicum in any form is invited! This is a very casual group, and members can participate at whatever level suits their interest level and time availability, with no commitments. Come join us or sign up for our listserv.

Mission

- Support fellow internship and practicum coordinators, and learn together through our coordination efforts. Enjoy each other’s company in regular, casual meetings.
- Elevate the importance and value of experiential education within the university.
- Recognize that access to higher education and experiential education is a social justice issue and actively work to remove barriers to participation. Expand pathways for students.
- Support student success outside of the traditional classroom, including internships, research, mentoring, practicum, and teaching opportunities

Session 1: Understanding the legal considerations of internships
Session 2: How to help students reflect, articulate, and communicate their experiences to current and potential employers, faculty, and graduate schools. How to communicate their knowledge and experience to the general public.
