Guidelines
On average students should be exercising 2.5 hours to 5 hours per week of moderate-to-vigorous activity. This equates to about 30-45 minutes for 5 days a week.
Benefits of Regular Exercise
According to the Physical Activity Guidelines 2018 Scientific Report, people who regularly exercise sleep better, feel better, and function more efficiently. They have more energy, and also may reduce their blood pressure, anxiety symptoms, and reduce their chance of acquiring a chronic disease, such as diabetes, stroke or heart disease. Regular exercise and activity helps individuals to strengthen both bones and muscles.
