What is DACA?
DACA stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, a program established in 2012 by the secretary of Homeland Security to provide a legal pathway for work authorization as well as higher education opportunities. Students who are recipients of DACA are deferred from removal action for a certain period of time.

Tuition Equity
Tuition Equity, also known as the Oregon House Bill 2787, was signed into law in 2013. The purpose of Tuition Equity is to allow students meet certain criteria to be exempt from non-resident tuition and fees. Tuition Equity students are eligible to pay the same tuition rates as Oregon residents for up to five years after initial enrollment at an Oregon University.
