Who Can Join

If you are a Western Oregon Students you can join SAB. We provide entertainment for the entire campus, and without the student body, we wouldn’t be able to organize events. We love working with spirited and motivated individuals to help us plan events that will get students excited about WOU and build community.

Attend SAB’s events and give us feedback by emailing sabdirector@wou.edu. We appreciate knowing what you think of our events!

Leadership Opportunities

The Executive Board and Officers oversee the planning and marketing of SAB’s events. These leadership opportunities take your SAB involvement to the next level! Applications open in mid-April (the Director application opens in March) and positions range from marketing to event management.

Western Oregon University’s Land Acknowledgement
Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Luckiamute Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are a part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians.
