Academic Excellence Showcase

For the Public

WOU invites you to Academic Excellence Showcase activities

The Academic Excellence Showcase (AES) on the WOU campus is free and open to the public. AES is Western Oregon University’s premier event for showcasing student excellence in research, scholarship and performance. Visitors of all ages are invited to attend presentations, poster sessions and the Presidential Plenary to learn more about the interesting and transformative research our undergraduates pursue each year.

AES day is a very busy one, so you’ll likely want to plan your visit before you arrive on campus. Here are some helpful links that will provide all the information you’ll need:

  • Parking on campus Non-permitted parking will NOT be ticketed on AES day. This means you can park on Campus for Free. Lots F and H on this map are closest to the Werner University Center where most of AES takes place.
  • Dining and coffee on campus
