Budget Notes: Ideas and suggestions that past Incidental Fee Committees have put together to help guide and give insight to new IFC’s.  Notes should be read at the beginning of each allocation process, and should be reviewed and revised at the end of each allocation process. The Budget Notes may be edited by the Incidental Fee Committee.

By-Laws: A rule which governs the members of an organization.

IFC Policy Ruling: Clarifies the GPA requirement for members of the Incidental Fee Committee.

Parliamentary Procedure: To ensure that all members have a voice and the meetings are executed via Robert’s Rules of Order also known as Parliamentary Procedure.

Over-Realized Funds – A guide to requesting over-realized funds, should they be available; revenue received from incidental fees in excess of projected enrollment and are allocated by the IFC for one-time expenditures.

Subcommittee Structure – During the budget process the Committee breaks off into subcommittees to better analyze budget requests. This document gives a breakdown of how subcommittees are structured.

Western Oregon University’s Land Acknowledgement
Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Luckiamute Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are a part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians.
