Setting Boundaries with Roommates
Setting boundaries with your roommates may be tricky, whether your roommate is a friend, significant other, or someone you found online. When living with other people, it is essential to take their needs into consideration, as well as your own. It’s also important to realize that some personalities may clash, so you may need to come up with ways to compromise, if you want to continue to live together.

Learning How to Say “No”
Many people stretch themselves thin because they don’t allow themselves to say “No”. However, if people are making you sacrifice your mental health, your education, or your other priorities for them, then they aren’t valuing your autonomy. Saying “No” to things is okay, and is a powerful skill to have.
