How to support WOU students through the COVID-19 pandemic
Western Oregon University has been adapting to the changing world in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have shifted to online and remote-access classes and encouraged students to go home when possible while remaining open for students who are most vulnerable.
Future steps are unknown, but it is apparent that students have new stressors on their lives, including increasing expenses and potential decreases in earnings with the loss of work-study and hours at other jobs. The WOU Foundation is committed to supporting our students in these unprecedented times.
Are you wondering how you can help? Please consider giving to the Emergency Student Aid fund.
Emergency Student Aid offers WOU students in crisis an opportunity to receive support that may help with utilities, food, child care, transportation, medical care and other life essentials. These are funds they don’t have to worry about paying back, only paying forward when they can.
