Navigate

For Students:

Schedule an Appointment with Advising, Tutoring, or Financial Services:
1. Log into the Portal and select the blue Navigate icon.

2. Select “Make an Appointment,” then choose what you need help with (advising, tutoring, etc.)

3. Select the appropriate office or category that appears and follow the steps to confirm a reason, a time, and an advisor for your appointment.

For Faculty and Staff: 

Navigate is used by faculty and staff for easy online appointment scheduling, advising documentation, and critical student success programs outlined below. Please use the buttons below to find more detailed information and tutorials on how to use Navigate based on your role(s).

Early Action System:

Navigate houses our Early Action System to proactively identifying and referring students to Student Success and Advising (SSA) who may be experiencing academic difficulty. Click here for more information on when and how to use the Early Action System. 

Progress Reports:

Navigate is also used to generate Progress Reports, which are used to gather early feedback from faculty on student performance for key populations such as student athletes.

Western Oregon University’s Land Acknowledgement
Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Luckiamute Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are a part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians.
