Advising 101: Key Strategies and Tools for Successful Advising
This is a recorded session to learn about key resources and information to be prepared for advising students. Key topics such as advising tools (WCS, DegreeTracks, Schedule Planner, etc), advising resources, common referrals and how to prepare for an advising appointment are covered.
Advising 201: Enhancing Your Advising Practices
This a recorded session designed for more experienced advisors (for new advisors, check out our Advising 101 session). We delve into strategies and methods for creating meaningful connections with students and assisting them in overcoming obstacles in achieving their goals. We also feature a guest panel of Faculty Advisor of the Year award winners to share best practices from their advising experience.
