*While students can choose to exit after completing the B.S., those who want to be professional interpreters are strongly encouraged to continue and complete the M.A.
Where this digree can take you
The demand for qualified interpreters is on the rise – according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, interpreter jobs are expected to grow by 19% over the next ten years (compared to a 5% increase expected for all occupations).
The B.S. degree is designed to prepare you for entry to the M.A. program. Upon completion of the M.A., you’ll be well-qualified to enter the field as a professional interpreter in a variety of settings.
