Mount Hood

Spencer Butte Challenge Course tomorrow!

Anyone interested in helping out with a photo shoot for Travel Lane County up at the Spencer Butte Challenge Course on Thursday, Oct 9th   12-4pm?  Eugene Adaptive Sports needs people to participate in some of the elements of the course.
– Butte Balance (group teeter totter platform on the ground)
– Giant’s Ladder (55′ team climbing structure with tires, rope ladders and rope)
– Stagecoach (rolling platform on cables with pull rope)
– Falcon’s Flight (50′ Giant swing)
– Gutterball (team-building game)

We are asking  participants to  wear neutral or bright colors (blues, greens, yellows) so they are contrasting with the trees. Please avoid wearing black or white and clothing with logos.

If you have a helmet with an attachment that can hold a GoPro, please bring that as you may be asked to wear a camera.

Please let me know if you are able to help out with this event. I need to know as soon as possible so we have enough people to complete the activities. Great opportunity to try out the challenge course without having to pay

Homeless veterans can come get a warm meal, get a haircut, get information on job opportunities, get information about college, and many other things.
However, this year SOVAH is very short-handed and is asking for more volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, please visit their website at:
