USPS International

The USPS offers multiple options for shipping mail internationally, each one meant to suit a specific purpose. Below I have detailed the most commonly used shipping methods, and included prices where applicable.

Pricing

The price for First-Class Mail International^® varies based on destination. If a mail piece exceeds the maximum length, height, or thickness of one rate, it will be charged at the next higher rate. Large envelopes that exceed maximum dimensions will be charged package rates. Restrictions

• All postcards, envelopes, and flats must be rectangular. Additional size restrictions apply depending on the type of mail piece you’re sending. Click here to see weight and size restrictions.
• Send anything up to 4 lbs and up to $400 in value. Some countries have lower weight restrictions, click here to learn about country-specific restrictions.
