Joined the board because…
John and I had been season ticket holders for several years prior to my joining the SFAS Board, and we have really enjoyed the shows, the quality of the performers, and the variety of choices – world class music and dance – so close to home. When I joined the board, I thought it would be interesting and rewarding to be involved with the Series, which we so enjoyed, and to be able to play a role in helping to keep the Series an active part of the cultural offerings of our community.
Most Memorable SFAS Show
SFAS has presented so many great shows, that it’s difficult to name a single one as most memorable. What makes each show memorable to me is the small size and intimacy of Rice auditorium and the dynamic connection between the performer and the audience – a great example: Allen Toussaint.
Other Interests
When not volunteering with SFAS, I enjoy sewing/quilting, working in the garden, cooking, wine tasting, and spending time with our family and friends.
