Vision

Finance and Administration supports and enables the university to fulfill its mission through mastering the fundamentals underpinning each of our functional areas and by collaborating with the WOU community to deliver innovative solutions designed to remove barriers and light pathways to help ensure every community member excels and succeeds.

Mission, Values and Strategic Priorities

The primary goal of Finance and Administration is to support WOU’s mission and the success of students, faculty and staff. The division’s ethos is grounded in the university’s core values of centering students, embracing diversity, fostering accessibility, and valuing community. Our priorities and projects are driven by the university’s strategic plan goals of institutional sustainability, student success, transformational diversity, and community strength.

Western Oregon University’s Land Acknowledgement
Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Luckiamute Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are a part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians.
