Studying Accounting prepares students to enter the accounting field through a variety of doors- public accounting firms, government agencies, and private organizations. Studying Accounting at Western Oregon University also prepares students with the coursework they need to fulfill requirements for the CPA exam. Accounting coursework at WOU is challenging and faculty members are dedicated to the success of their students. The coursework helps students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as professional oral and written communication skills.
