New Partnership with BJA, NTTAC

The WCPI has been selected as a provider for the Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Training and Technical Assistance program by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) National Training and Technical Assistance Center (NTTAC). WCPI will be working in partnership with the Carolinas Institute for Community Policing (CICP) and the Center for Public Safety (CPSI) at St. Petersburg College to assist BJA in providing CPTED National Training and Technical Assistance.

Bureau of Justice Assistance

BJA’s mission is to provide leadership and services in grant administration and criminal justice policy development to support local, state, and tribal justice strategies to achieve safer communities. BJA supports programs and initiatives in the areas of law enforcement, justice information sharing, countering terrorism, managing offenders, combating drug crime and abuse, adjudication, advancing tribal justice, crime prevention, protecting vulnerable populations, and capacity building.
