My name is Jen Koshnick, and I am the Director of TPSSS at WOU. I have both a B.S. and an M.Ed. in Education from the University of Minnesota. I was a classroom teacher, and I love working with future teachers! I am also passionate about working with students to help them develop learning strategies to be successful in college and beyond. When I have downtime, I enjoy hiking, dancing, and spending time with my family.

Hi, my name is Cristina Olivares and I am a current student here at Western. I’m a part of the Bilingual Teachers Program and I plan on majoring in Early Childhood/Elementary Education with a minor in ESOL. Hello, my name is Brenda Zamudio and this is my third year here at WOU. I am a first generation college student and I plan on majoring in Early Childhood/Elementary education with a minor in ESOL. Hi, my name is Julio which means July in spanish (yes, like the month). I am currently an Elementary Ed major at WOU. My name is Gracee Potter. I am a transfer student from Central Oregon Community College and now am majoring in elementary education as a junior at Western Oregon University. I am excited to get the opportunity to make a difference in children’s lives as I further my way to becoming a teacher. When I am not working for TPSSS, I am working at a local daycare as a teacher and get to spend time with the most amazing kiddos! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, watching Netflix, hiking, and spending time outdoors! You can find me at the TPSSS office throughout the week.
