Sheree Solario

Director/Educational Advisor

She/Her/Hers

My name is Sheree Solario and I am the Director of the TPSSS program at WOU.
I graduated from WOU with a BS in Business and have been a part of the Western family for
over 15 years. I have spent my professional time with WOU working with the TRIO Student
Enrichment Program serving first generation/ low-income students as they navigate through
higher education. I love seeing students find their passion and work towards reaching their
goals
In my spare time, I enjoy being crafty, reading, traveling and spending time with my family.

Alejandro (Alex) Gonzalez

My name is Alex and I am an Educational Advisor at TPSSS. I graduated from OSU with a B.A in Liberal Arts – Spanish. I was born and raised in Mexico City. Before taking the Educational Advisor position, I was a high school IA. I worked primarily with English Learners and Special Education students. I enjoy working out, running, adrenaline, and fútbol! I am also fascinated with learning new languages!

Amber Logan

Educational Advisor

She/Her/Hers

My name is Amber Logan, and I am an Educational Advisor for TPSSS at WOU. I was born in Texas but grew up in sunny Arizona before moving to Oregon with my husband in 2013. I have a B.S. in Kinesiology and an M.Ed. in Education, both from Arizona State University. Before joining the WOU family, I taught for 7 years as a Special Educator and then switched it up to a third grade classroom in Albany for the last 5 years. I am thrilled to support future teachers in obtaining their degrees and look forward to working with you! In my spare time I enjoy art, reading, crafts, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and spending time with my family.

Western Oregon University’s Land Acknowledgement
Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Luckiamute Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are a part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians.
