Now is the time to finish your 4‑year degree—and WOU can help you get there.
I am a returning WOU student and wish to finish my four year degree.
Are you interested in returning to WOU? Schedule an appointment with a Degree Completion advisor to begin charting your path to graduation.
Our Degree Completion advisors help returning students understand what they need to do to graduate, and how their degree can help them achieve their life and career goals. Sometimes you’re closer to graduation than you think!
I have a transfer Associate degree (AAOT, AA).
WOU offers many bachelor’s degree options in specialized fields.
The Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies is a great option for turning your Associate degree into a four-year degree.
- Do you have interests that lead you to ask questions across traditional disciplinary boundaries?
- Does the career path you envision for yourself not fit into just one area of study?
- Do you like the challenge of pulling things together from different areas?
- Have you taken previous coursework across a variety of fields?
Some pathways in Interdisciplinary Studies can be completed via evening, hybrid courses at WOU:Salem and online course work.

I have an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree.
The Bachelor of Applied Science degree offers a relevant and streamlined path to a 4-year degree for AAS degree holders.
- BAS in Computer Science
- BAS in Criminal Justice
- BAS in Early Childhood Studies
- BAS in Economics
- BAS in Information Systems
- BAS in Liberal Studies
- BAS in Professional Studies in the Deaf Community
The BAS degree includes a modified general education track that is designed to meet the needs of working adults who seek to more directly connect their professional experience with their course work. The major requirements for the BAS degree are the same as for the traditional four-year major, and with careful planning the BAS degree can be completed in 90 credits or less (the equivalent of two years of full-time course work).
I've earned at least 60 (trimester) credits towards an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree.
The Bachelor of Applied Science offers a relevant and streamlined path to a 4-year degree for students with 60 or more AAS credits.
Programs open to students who transfer 60 or more credits towards an AAS degree:
- BAS in Gerontology
- BAS in Psychology
