WOU offers a variety of resources to help you succeed in your academic endeavors. Disability Access Services provides individualized Note-Taking Support options free of charge for students registered with our office who are approved for this accommodation. You can also find information about study skills tutoring, including note-taking strategies, through Student Success and Advising.

 LiveScribe Echo SmartPen.

The Echo SmartPen is a revolutionary tool that digitally records your handwritten notes and syncs them with class audio. DAS currently offers a limited supply of Echo SmartPens for approved students to checkout. We also have ink cartridges and dot paper available upon request.

Artificial Intelligence enhances your note-taking with Jamworks. Audio and screen recordings of lecture material supplement your lecture slides and typed notes. Jamworks supports your studying with highlights, key points, auto-transcripts, summaries, and more!

Messenger Pigeon.

Specifically selected for DAS-registered students who experience specific barriers to our other options. Messenger Pigeon provides quality typed notes from a human note-taker, based on recorded class audio. Access to Messenger Pigeon is available to approved students.
