Each artist that performs with the Smith Fine Arts Series also provides a free educational outreach opportunity for our community. From special performances and demonstrations for elementary and secondary students to informal discussions and workshops for university students and the public, SFAS fosters an appreciation for the performing arts by providing direct access to the world-class artists who perform here.
For K-12 Students:
- Special performances and workshops
- Masterclasses and workshops for high school students
- Discounted tickets for all K-12 students
For Western Oregon University students:
- Free tickets to all Smith Fine Arts performances
- Co-sponsored residencies with the Music and Dance Departments
- Masterclasses and workshops for university students
For the Community:
- Free mini-concerts for community members
- Invitations to Q&A sessions with performers
- Ticket giveaways at community events
