“Primordial Awakening” is about Druids, a class of people believed to have lived during the Iron Age in what is currently Ireland. My piece is based on my own concept of this society and their origins, with influence from popular culture’s ideals of Druids being mystics who drew their power from nature. The work is also a reflection of the harmony between opposites that exists in nature.
