Daisy Vasquez

Events Coordinator

Daisy is a Sophomore, majoring in Biology. Some of her hobbies include: catch up on TV shows and hangout with friends. When asked Why MSU? Daisy said, “I chose to be involved with MSU to be able to put on events that represent and support students from different backgrounds!” She is excited to help coordinate events and be able to make new connections through them.

Membership Coordinator

Diego is a Junior, pursing Pre-Nursing/Public Health. Some of his hobbies include: playing video games, listening to music, watching TV, arts and crafts. When asked Why MSU? He said, “I chose to join MSU because I would like to be more involved on things happening on campus, but also meet new people and form a community with members in the club! He is most excited to meet new people, create new friendships and experiences as he enters this position

Treasurer

Gloria is a Freshman, pursing Pre-Nursing. Some of her hobbies include: Exploring new places, attending social events, such as concerts, sporting events, etc. When asked Why MSU? She said, “I want to build connections and meet new people through my role in MSU”

Elise Ferreira

Freshman Advocate

Elise is a Freshman, majoring in Social Sciences. Some of her hobbies include: trying new foods, hanging out with friends, shopping, spending time with family, dancing, and watching scary movies! When asked Why MSU? She said, “I chose to be a part of MSU because I want to get to experience and better understand different cultures. As well as being able to provide an understanding environment for myself and others.”She is most excited for starting her first year in college and future MSU events!

Seth is a Senior, pursuing a degree in Education Studies. Some of his hobbies include: Volunteering, spending time with friends, trying new things, making art, and playing video games. When asked Why MSU? He said, “I get to help bring diversity to WOU and the greater community as well“

Western Oregon University’s Land Acknowledgement
Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Luckiamute Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are a part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians.
