Danielle Campbell

Danielle Campbell is a computer science major and aspires to be a software engineer with the goal of improving female interest and retention in the STEM field. She is a member of the class of 2022 and has served as Chief of Staff for the Associated Students of Western Oregon University (ASWOU) since September 2019. Campbell is an active member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, currently holding the role of Vice President Finance. She has worked for other campus departments, including supporting web design in Strategic Marketing and Communications and front desk support for Accounting and Business Services.

Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Luckiamute Band of Kalapuya. Following the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 (Kalapuya etc. Treaty), Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to reservations in Western Oregon. Today, living descendants of these people are a part of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians.
