The Jeanne Deane scholarship is a $1,500 scholarship we give out to 1-2 students each academic year.

Each winner is required to volunteer in Abby’s House for 5 hours each week during the academic year. The scholarship committee is comprised of the professional staff in Abby’s House as well as the Abby’s House Advisory Council

Our Criteria

At least 90 credit hours
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Able to volunteer at Abby’s House a minimum of 5 hours per week each term throughout the academic year
Post graduate study allowed.

Preferences:

Full time (12 or more credits per term)

Western Oregon University in Monmouth, OR is located within the traditional homelands of the Luckiamute Band of Kalapuya.
