Our main center is located in the Academic Programs and Support Center (APSC), the building on the corner of campus across from the Natural Science Building. The Writing Center is located on the third floor, room 301. The easiest way to get to the Writing Center is to find the elevator in the building and go to the third floor.
These appointments are either 30 or 60 minutes long, and our tutors will be able to sit down with you and work on any writing-related questions you have!
In addition to our daytime location, we also offer evening tutoring in Hamersly Library, room 116. Evening tutoring sessions are ideal if you need some last minute help, or if you aren’t able to make an appointment during our regular business hours. These face-to-face sessions are, however, typically only about 15-20 minutes in length, so they are not designed to go as in-depth as appointments at our APSC location.
Currently, as the university is online, we are offering evening appointments online in 45-minute sessions.
If you live in the Salem area, you don’t have to travel to Monmouth to get writing help. We now are offering in-person tutoring in Salem. We are located at the Salem Campus in the coffee shop area behind the classrooms. These tutoring sessions are 20-minute walk-in sessions, so you don’t have to book an appointment in advance to get help.
