The 2026–2027 academic year Leadership Conference has a new name! Please save the date for the 1st Annual Conferencia Voces de Cambio y Liderazgo (Voices for Change and Leadership Conference) on Friday, October 23, 2026.

This new name was selected based on feedback from Western Oregon University students and votes from students who attended this year’s conference on May 8. The upcoming academic year marks an exciting transition as we move the conference from its traditional spring schedule to the fall for the first time.

While the name and timing are changing, our mission remains the same: To provide transformative opportunities for Latine and all high school students in Oregon and to instill in them the value of education, which nurtures the mind, body, and spirit, in order to develop a social consciousness that empowers them as leaders for social justice, civic responsibility, and positive change within their communities.
