Education
University of Oregon, Master of Science in Applied Information Management I completed my graduate degree with the Applied Information Management program that is designed for mid-career professionals to provide skills and expertise that can be used immediately in the workplace. The curriculum focused on information management and the process of identifying the information needed, how to go about collecting it, how to store the data, how to manipulate and analyze the data for insight, the proper way to report the information, how to disseminate the data and essentially how to utilize the data for benefit. A few specific courses include information design, business management and applied research. Western Oregon University, Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice I completed my undergraduate degree from Western Oregon University with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Spanish. During my time at WOU I was heavily involved with on campus activities to include the Judicial Review Board and the Student Conduct Committee where I represented the student body and provided a voice for the community regarding the judicial process for students who violated university policy or state laws.
