Why I chose WOU
I appreciated WOU's emphasis on integrating academic learning with the clinical needs of the community when I coordinated internship placements for the Department of Veterans Affairs. I remain impressed by the quality of people, small town feel, and focus on excellence.

Favorite book/movie
Movie: The Fault in Our Stars--heartbreaking, but a great source of inspiration for re-aligning priorities.
Book: Snowbound (Hamilton, L, 1997) is a true survival story that happened in the wilderness near where I grew up in North Central Idaho. It reminds me of the randomness of fate, and includes a complicated ethical dilemma.
