Professional experience

A full-time ASL Studies faculty member at Western Oregon University. He received his Bachelor’s degree in ASL Studies from WOU and a Masters of Education degree from Oregon State University in College Student Service Administration (CSSA). In addition, he holds a certificate from the American Sign Language Teacher Association. He is also trained as a peer trainer for the Deaf Self-Advocacy Training curriculum. Students benefit from Mr. Redpath’s experiences from his professional expertise in CSSA. Mr. Redpath is currently the scheduling coordinator for the ASL Studies program. On a personal note, he is a licensed private pilot out of Independence, Oregon and he enjoys flying during his spare time with his wife and daughter.
